About the Album

In October I was told I had cancer, inoperable and incurable, but the docs had a way to stop it growing. All I had to do was to go for a shot every month for forever and a day. Side-effects included hot flushes and interuptions to the water-works. Two months earlier I had a heart operation and 3 weeks after that hospitalized with severe blood poisoning. It’s been a hell of a few months, -as a new year is nervously waiting in the wings, hopes are high and dreams are sweet. What can possibly go wrong, life is worth living, the music is…well, I think it is worth the bother. Enjoy and stay tuned, more is on the way. Kai

As the cancer progressed over the next years, Kai’s voice got affected in periodes of treatments and strong medications, as you might notice, especially in his last years. Still his sharp mind and creativity continued going strong…
